5 Budget-Friendly Family Favorite Meals

Feeding a family of 5 is challenging, and finding meals that they all like is even more difficult. Whether you have a picky eater or not, these recipes are sure to please. Here are 5 budget-friendly meals your family will love! These meals are hearty and perfect for our last few weeks of winter. You can take these meals and spice them up however you like, they’re all easy on the wallet too!

Picky Eaters And Budget-Friendly Meals

My daughters are such wonderful eaters. They are so sweet to say thank you every night for dinner. It’s so pleasing and I never tire of hearing it! Even the simplest dinner, they are always grateful. My son, however, is not quite as appreciative. He’s a picky eater, and dinner time is stressful for him. He loves to eat, although many things we make for dinner cause him anxiety. Having these favorites mixed in with our meal plan helps him to know that we don’t in fact, make everything he hates!

Keeping A Variety

I try and keep as much variety in our meal plans as possible. Since many of these recipes are quite heavy, I don’t usually make this meal plan all in one week. However, most of these items are a staple to my pantry so if I don’t have a plan, I can usually throw one of these together. There are all sorts of variations to keep them creative as well.

Quick and Easy Dinners

For the most part, these budget-friendly meals are very easy to put together. They take very little time. In fact, I think they can be made in 30 minutes or less! Great for weeknights after a day at work. There are always shortcuts too. Especially for the Soup, Put it in the crock-pot in the morning.
